The Glenn Hendricks MSTX Merit Award is the highest award presented by Magnet Schools of Texas. This competitive award is

open to all magnet schools within the regional areas in and around Texas. Awards will be presented to magnet schools scoring

90 or more points on the rubric. Entries are judged on the criteria listed below. Note the scoring rubric on the back of this

application. Return the completed application to Magnet Schools of Texas Joseph White, The Cottage, 201 Cognewaugh Rd.,

Cos Cob, CT 06807-1505. Entries must be postmarked by September 21, 2007. No applications received after that date will be

eligible for consideration. Winners will be announced at the 2007 MSTX Conference. Applications are limited to seven pages

plus the application form and must be typed in Times Roman 12 point font with one inch margins. No pictures may be included.
