The Glenn Hendricks MSTX-MS Merit Award is the highest award presented by Magnet Schools of Texas and Mid- South. This competitive award is open to all magnet schools within the regional areas in and around Texas. Awards will be presented to magnet schools scoring 90 or more points on the rubric. Entries are judged on the criteria listed on the award application form. Note the scoring rubric on the back of this application. Return the completed application to:

Entries must be received by October 14, 2009. No applications received after that date will be eligible for consideration. Winners will be announced at the 2009 MSTX-MS Conference. Applications are limited to seven pages plus the application form and must be typed in Times Roman 12-point font with one-inch margins. No pictures may be included. Please submit one original and three copies.
